This is the Explorer I’ve been waiting for. perfect for my wrist (~7 inches) and as nicely proportioned as the 124270, which I owned, but could never warm up to the size.
Explorer I - 39mm. If you really want one, it will look good on you, no doubt. My wrist size is between 7.25 and 7.5”. To keep it simple, I usually just say 7.25”. When I tried one on a couple years back, it definitely wore smaller than my Submariner 114060, which I consider the perfect fit for me.

I found one from a trusted seller on the Rolex Forum, and which also was listed here, in my budget. I traded out a watch I didn't feel right keeping, plus some cash. Then I also sold a watch I liked but rarely wore. I'm considering purchasing a 36mm Rolex Explorer 1 (LNIB M serial from 2007). My wrist is 6.75" and I think it would look pretty good. I've never actually seen one 'in person', however, so would appreciate your opinion relative to other, 'similar' watches (e.g., the current 39mm Explorer 1 and the ever popular 14060M no-date Submariner). Go used / aftermarket from a reputable dealer. You’ll get the watch you want without playing the games. I have been thinking about purchasing an Explorer 1 as believe they have a sort of class about the model without being to stand out. I currently have a Sub Bluesy but would keep this and go for an Explorer for day to day wear. Does the forum think this would be a good solid watch to purchase??
