The line started around 1990 and was discontinued circa 2010. 1835 is the date Thomas Burberry was born. Thought the buttons are good. But then got to the main label. The logo and text is just wrong. Blue Label was made and sold exclusively in Japan. If theres no japanese washtag its a fake. 4.7K subscribers in the Burberry community. Trying to shop for a used Burberry, and noticed there was a good chunk of Japanese ones as well. While I know resources like this exist, they don't talk about Japanese labels. I'm semi-confident they're fake, because it doesn't seem like they used entirely different labeling for the Japanese market outside of Blue/Black labels. Black Label outside of East Asia? I lived in Japan for a few years and accumulated quite a few Black Label pieces (shirts, wallet, card case, etc). I fell in love with its mix of contemporary and Burberry classic. Legit check vintage blue label pre - 1999 or just a fake? Found this at the back of an antic store in rome but I’m pretty sceptical I’ve not seen anything similar before can’t tell if it’s fake or just worn out over time. The tag inside is pretty worn it’s hard to read the details. The blue label on the back of the zip also confused. I'm looking for a vintage Burberry skirt, preferably from the Blue Label line as that's the kind of style I like best. I've been having issues finding authentic Burberry skirts. I found some on Vestiaire Collective, but have heard that the site is known to let dupes slip through the cracks, and scammers run rampant.
